Milk may increase risk of fractures, overall mortality in both sexes
Researchers in Sweden claim that a higher consumption of milk is not associated with a lower risk of fractures and may instead be linked with a higher rate of mortality.

Possible association between soy formula and seizures in children with autism
A University of Wisconsin-Madison researcher has detected a higher rate of seizures among children with autism who were fed infant formula containing soy protein rather than milk protein.The study found excess seizures among girls and in the total sample of 1,949 children.

In utero exposure to diesel exhaust a possible risk factor for obesity
Pregnant mice exposed to high levels of air pollution gave birth to offspring with a significantly higher rate of obesity and insulin resistance in adulthood than those that were not exposed to air pollution. This effect seemed especially prevalent in male mice, which were heavier regardless of diet.
